She was beautiful but not like those girls in the magazines,

She was beautiful for the way she thought,

She was beautiful for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved,

She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad,

No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks,

She was beautiful deep down to her soul,

She is beautiful.

-F.Scott Fitzgerald

Every woman deserves to be reminded of this message ever so often. The woman described in todays quote is the kind of woman I want to be and I aspire to be her kind of beautiful. When I hear compliments like ‘ oh Florence, you are pretty’ or ‘Florence, you are beautiful’, while I appreciate the compliments; I always remind myself that my beauty or physical appearance and every other thing that people classify as beautiful does not solely defines me. I would rather be regarded as beautiful because of the impact I have made. I am a beautiful woman because I have faith, I possess love and therefore I am capable of loving others. I am a beautiful woman and I am a phenomenal woman and I have the ability to empathise with others without compromising what is best for me.

To the woman reading this, you are beautiful, perfectly flawed, you  are special and your kind of beautiful is what defines beauty. Today’s post is inspired by a message sent by one of my friends, girl thank you! You sent this post to me on a day that seemed very long. I was not expecting it but it really touched me and this inspired today’s post, I just felt another beautiful soul would benefit from this message,  I hope this message resonates with you and enables you to consider your beauty beyond your physical appearance because honestly there is so much to you than your looks.

Please share this to every woman you know.

Stay beautiful ,

See you soon,
