Hey Beautiful people,
I hope you’re all doing well!
The past couple of weeks and days have been tough if I’m to be honest. There has definitely been a lot of injustice happening in the world and it’s been scary, to say the least. For the most part, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and as I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been spending time going on walks, praying and just protecting my energy.
On a more uplifting note, I’d like to share some good news. But firstly, some pointers I’ve been reflecting on. I’d like to encourage you to find your passion and when you do, find your drive, find your reason why, be consistent and persevere; belief in yourself, sets goals, be it short term or long term and always reevaluate. Improve yourself, work on your craft and never stop growing and yearning to learn because these are principles I have lived by and has continued to open many doors of opportunity.
I woke up the morning of the 5th of June to over 400 followers on my brand page @mio-prints! We got featured on IMAGE (click here) and Loving.ie (click here )as a Black-owned Irish Business.
I have to say the recognition has been great but mostly encouraging because I still see my self as a little girl with big dreams and this is one of many that has come through.

Self Development
I’ve enjoyed developing new skills and focusing on who I am by tapping further into my potential. I’ve been paying closer attention to the concept of self-development, reading books, taking online courses and just working on creating more valuable content for my audience. I have been hosting live streams on Instagram on various topics ranging from tips on how to start your own business, to how to create valuable and engaging content. I’ve also hosted a live session on mental health awareness and this has been so much learning as it’s required me to reach out to other influencers and experts to share their knowledge on these matters. Hosting these live session has allowed me not only to provide valuable content but it’s been a learning space for me to improve some key skills such as communication, planning, listening and being creative.
My next live session is on the 21st of June at 4 pm with Youtuber AllysImperial and we’ll be discussing mortgage process, credit score and saving. I hope to see you there!
I hope you learnt one or two things from this post. Let me know how you’ve spent your quarantine in the comment section, I’d be happy to hear more about you guys!
Don’t forget to follow me on my social platforms all @mouldedinsideout
Sending lots of love,

The lock-down situation and COVID-19 have also brought me a lot of positive things! We’re living in crazy tiles with so much going on but it made me realize how important it is to take care of yourself!
Hi Calie, I’m glad you stopped by on the blog. I definitely agree that covid-19 has brought a lot of positive things! As you said, if there’s one thing we can take out of this period, taking care of oneself should be a priority.
I agree with you, with covid or without, do not waste any opportunity to learn and develop a new skill. Find what you’re good at, develop it, and give your passion to that. It will make a big difference in your long-term happiness =D I wrote my quarantine story here: https://www.pinayads.com/2020/06/life-amidst-covid-19/ Congrats on @mio-prints new milestone!
