Happy Belated Mothers Day to all the amazing women that stop by my blog on a daily basis. You are loved and most definitely appreciated.

In today’s blog, I will be sharing five tips on how best to stay productive during our recent pandemic. Firstly, I should say, ‘the best way to protect our loved ones and the most vulnerable people in our society is by following the health guidelines’. Where possible, let’s stay home and maintain social distancing.


I believe very strongly that no matter how hard this season may be and the experiences, it will pass and so will time and this is what inspired today’s post, I wanted to share tips on how we can stay motivated and productive with the time we have.

Here goes, five ways to stay productive while being stuck at home!

  1. Maintain your routine, try very hard not to spend the whole day sleeping and eating as much as it’s the easiest thing to do, chances are two months from now, you might regret it! Create a weekly or daily plan that will help keep you in check with your goals. If you are working from home, try very hard to stick to your work routines, I know a lot of us want to overcompensate and work extra hours but this will do you no good in the long run, so take your lunch break as usual and finish at the right time.
  2. Deep clean your house and environment/ car, you don’t want to be dirty, this contributes to a peaceful and organised mind and would most likely make you feel less stressed.
  3. This might be the opportunity to look at online courses, you might want to start a blog, look into photography online classes, mothers you could enrol your child to an online course. You could update your blog just like I’m doing now.
  4. Stay fit, I am so sad that this crisis started just as I was taking the gym seriously but, that’s okay because there’s a ton of exercise and home work out videos online on Youtube. You could also choose to go for a walk, the weather is currently beautiful!
  5. Stay positive, listen to informed videos such as Ted Talks, Podcasts and  maintain a healthy diet as much as possible
