Hi beautiful people,

Happy New Month, I was really enthusiastic about having the post out on the very first day of the month but so many things came up and I was not able to get round to it. In today’s post, I will be sharing the highlights of last month because honestly, May was an amazing month for me. I can safely say it was the best month so far in the year! Okay so lets get into it, I will be sharing my top 5 highlights.

Irish Time- I was called for a photoshoot to meet the Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development -Ciaran Cannon T.D and to partner with Martin Doyle at Irishtimesnews . The News Paper has partnered with Irish Aid on an African- themed writing competition. It was such an honour to be a part of it and thank you for the love shown guys!

Abbey Theater- I was involved in a drama production with my choir DGC and the Abbey Theatre for the ‘Abbey 5×5 project’., The idea of this project is to showcase more minorities who are excluded in Irish media and theatre work in Ireland. We spent a week practicing and by the end of the week which was the first of June- Friday we performed what we had come up with. It was such an amazing opportunity to explore other talents and gifts that I had. I learnt a lot about myself and others especially in the sensitive topic of Direct Provision. I would love to share more about my experience throughout the week, if you are interested let me know in the comment section so I can do a separate post!

Prettylittlething-  Prettylittlething saw my post on ‘5 ways to make the most of your summer’ and from this we collaborated together for their summer shop campaign. This for me was such an exciting opportunity for both myself and the blog because I was happy to share another side of myself to you guys and the feedback has been great. Thank you so much for the continuous support!

Friends and Family- A lot of special people in my life celebrated their birthday and if you follow me long enough, you know I am all about celebrating and appreciating  people who have been placed in our lives for different yet specific reasons. I was also a lot more present mentally in May, I took more time to engage with myself and gave time to people that mattered most.

This brings me to the end of my post,  thank you so much for keeping up with me!I hope you can also relate to my excitement throughout the post.  I pray this month is better for all of us, filled with fun, peace and blessings.
